Lidao New Energy | The 17th China International Battery Fair (CIBF2025) Concludes Successfully
On May 17, 2025, the 17th China International Battery Fair (CIBF2025) drew to a successful close after three exciting days. Under the core theme of “Linking the World · Empowering Green · Driving the Future”, the fair brought together leading companies, research institutions and industry figures from the global battery technology sector to explore new paths for battery technology innovation and coordinated development across the entire supply chain, working together to take the industry to new heights.

At this year’s fair, Jiangsu Lidao New Material Co., Ltd. appeared alongside its wholly owned subsidiary, Lidao New Energy (Anhui) Co., Ltd. Drawing on deep R&D foundations and a series of innovative technical achievements, the company actively shared its distinctive views on sustainable development, earning wide acclaim and high praise from within and beyond the industry.
During the fair, Lidao New Energy highlighted its battery aluminum foil products. Battery aluminum foil can serve as the cathode current collector for lithium batteries and as the current collector for both electrodes of sodium batteries. In production, the manufacture of high-purity foil is extremely demanding: hydrogen content must be precisely controlled and grain size optimized to ensure outstanding conductivity and mechanical performance. Together, these properties not only guarantee efficient, smooth electron conduction but also enhance structural stability, laying a solid foundation for improving overall battery performance.
In addition, as an upgraded iteration of base foil, the company’s carbon-coated aluminum foil uses an innovative surface modification technology. It not only greatly strengthens the bonding of active materials but also simultaneously raises the energy density of lithium batteries and the cycling stability of sodium batteries. The material shows excellent adaptability across a wide temperature range, maintaining stable electrochemical performance even in harsh conditions. Thanks to a green manufacturing process it also achieves dual optimization of energy consumption and emissions, making it a key material supporting high-safety, long-life battery systems.
