Architectural Color-Coated Aluminum Applications
Al-Mg-Mn Roofing System
Al-Mg-Mn alloy roofing panels are a new type of roofing sheet. Widely used across the construction industry, the Al-Mg-Mn alloy has played an important role in moving modern buildings toward comfort, lightness, durability, economy, and sustainability. Thanks to its moderate structural strength, weather and stain resistance, and ease of bending and welding, it is widely recognized as a roofing and exterior-wall material for buildings designed to last over 50 years.
Standing Seam System
A traditional system used worldwide, it can form extra-long vertical panels without stress-induced deformation, while meeting the requirements of various architectural color-coated aluminum profiles.
Low Standing Seam System
Suited to small-area roofs such as villas, with a more elegant style. The infinite expansion-or-contraction system can incorporate continuous welding for a longer service life, delivering leak-free construction.
Drainage System
The Al-Mg-Mn panel roofing system uses a mechanical seaming method to strictly prevent leaks and bring the drainage system to its best performance. Even in heavy rain, water is drained promptly, avoiding the enormous external forces caused by ponding and keeping the structure free from deformation.
Typical Applications — Al-Mg-Mn Roofing System
The Al-Mg-Mn roofing system is the mainstream solution for long-span metal roofs and corrugated insulated building envelopes. Leveraging its attractive finish, light weight, high strength, easy formability, weather durability, and recyclability, Lidao PVDF color-coated Al-Mg-Mn coils are widely used in all kinds of high-end building roofing projects, making them an excellent choice for modern building metal cladding.

Standard Width Standard widths of 575mm, 578mm, 580mm, 595mm, 600mm, and 1000mm, with custom slitting available on demand to suit various roof layouts and special-shape construction. Standard Coating Configuration Finished with a high-end PVDF fluorocarbon protective coating: 2-coat at 25–28 μm, 3-coat at 35–38 μm — dense, uniform, and resistant to aging and fading. Standard colors include silver grey, bright silver, champagne silver, and pure white, with special textures such as hammered and embossed also available, balancing protection and architectural aesthetics. -
Core Process: Continuous Coil Coating
The coating aluminum coil for Al-Mg-Mn roofing uses a professional coil-coating process with the advanced ‘coat-first, form-later’ production model, offering clear quality advantages over the traditional post-forming secondary spray process.
Relying on a high-speed, continuous, automated coil-coating line dedicated to architectural aluminum, the entire pre-coating is completed before the coil is sheared, bent, or roll-formed, achieving synchronized two-side double-layer coating in a single pass. With high process precision, uniform and stable coating, and controllable color difference, it delivers excellent production efficiency and effectively avoids over-baking, cracking, and peeling of the coating during subsequent processing — fully ensuring the consistency and long-term durability of the roofing sheet.

Special Functional Coating Series
Self-Cleaning Fluorocarbon Coating Contains active decontamination agents that automatically break down and peel away surface dust and stains in the natural environment, keeping the roof clean for a long time, greatly reducing high-altitude cleaning and later maintenance costs, ideal for hard-to-maintain scenarios such as large venues and complex irregular roofs. Heat-Reflective Energy-Saving Coating Added with special ceramic thermal-insulation components, it efficiently reflects sunlight infrared, markedly lowering roof heat absorption, effectively mitigating the urban heat-island effect, reducing building cooling energy consumption, and fully meeting green-building energy-efficiency rating standards. Color-Shifting Optical Coating Uses a custom optical fluorocarbon coating based on light reflection, refraction, and diffraction, allowing the roof color to shift dynamically with the lighting angle and viewing perspective — a premium, lively visual texture suited to high-end roofing and facade decoration for city landmarks and cultural-tourism buildings.
